As a result of the coronavirus, many people have been working at home for a long time, and some of them will continue to do so. And that remains difficult at times. You can't consult quickly, there are many distractions in and around the house and you quickly lose focus. Fortunately, the five tips below will get you back into your workflow in no time. Let's get back to business!
Tip 1: Set your goals
It works very clearly for yourself if you set concrete goals at the beginning of the workday. These are the activities you work on during the day or period. This list helps you focus on set priorities instead of dreaming away looking at beautiful vacation spots. Extra tip! Cross off completed tasks. It gives a sense of accomplishment when at the end of the day you have successfully completed and crossed off all set tasks.

Tip 2: Getting to the cleaning
Peace in your environment means peace in your mind. Nothing works better than a tidy and orderly environment. Stuff such as scrap papers, forms or documents can remind you that you still have other work to do, while now you are busy with something completely different. A consequence of this is that you can experience a lot of stress, which in turn is counterproductive. Purchase those storage folders, document holders and/or letter trays, because it will give you a lot of focus and peace of mind. So, clean up your desk, because it only brings benefits!
Tip 3: Work outside the home
Despite the orderly desk, it is also effective to switch workstations sometimes. While working from home, it can still be difficult to keep work and home separate at times. The blouse that still needs ironing, roommates who want your attention or the endless trips to the refrigerator. At a workplace away from home, you are away from these stimuli for a while and can fully devote yourself to work. In addition, switching workplaces is important to stay focused and avoid falling into a rut. Working away from home also often provides new inspiration.
