"I'm Tristan, I'm 21 years old and I'm an Event Manager at DUS Utrecht.

Who is your favorite colleague?

'I think my favorite colleague now is Bas the cook, along with my girlfriend Lisa of course. It's always very cozy on the floor as an operational team.'

What do you do to give visitors an unforgettable day?

'A good reception is always important. Clients often arrive early so a nice cup of coffee helps anyway. Furthermore, all the client's wishes are worked out well and everything is fulfilled. Then everything should be fine.'

What is your favorite memory at DUS?

'In addition to all the fun events, we also do a lot of team outings and staff outings. I think those are some of the best memories I have with the company DUS.'

How did you end up at DUS?

'I first started at DeFabrique as an intern. Then I worked there as an employee and also occasionally at DUS. Eventually I liked it here so much that I first came to work here as a first employee and now I've been promoted to event manager for a few months. So I've been coming here for a while.'

What keeps your work fun?

'I think the thing that makes my job fun is that you really do provide people with an unforgettable day. That they get a unique experience. Especially with the concept that we have, they don't see that very often. And the great colleagues, we have a great team and we do a lot of fun things together. That really does keep it fun and cozy.'

What superpower would you like to have at work?

'I still think I can get rid of the coil in one finger snap.'

What is the fattest event you've worked for?

'I think last summer Environmental Defense or Kaat & Co. Those were two big festivals where really a lot of people came, around two to three hundred people. The weather was nice too. Yes, I like that, working hard in the sunshine, enjoying the outdoor terrace.'

What quality of a colleague are you secretly a little jealous of?

I think of Lisa because she can really connect the dots. I can be quite lax in some things and she is just a little bit tidier. And Bas, because he can cook really well. That is also a quality I would like to have.

Do you have any tips for job applicants?

'In the event world, I always think you just have to be nice and bold, and be nice and social. So if you want to apply here sometime, don't be afraid to send an email or just drop by. There are a lot of nice, sociable people here. So just be yourself and be cheeky.

Who would jump in the water first?

'I think Bas with a drink on, that could be pretty quick. If the weather is nice, that one wouldn't be afraid to make a little splash.'
